How does ZOOM compare in performance against other technologies?
ZOOM goes where X-probe and MetriX™, and conventional sized probes cannot. At 0.8mm, 0.7mm and even 0.6mm spacing between targets, PCB’s can be tested with ZOOM that cannot with other technologies available on the market

ZOOM is available for any test platform.
How large can the board size be?
The fixtures are not limited in size by the ZOOM technology, only the tester itself. The stripper and sealing for ZOOM does reduce the useable about by just two inches on each side.
What are the tilt pin diameters?
0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm are the typical sizes.
Can ZOOM tilt pins be replaced by a customer in field? Are tools provided with the fixture to assist in the replacement of ZOOM tilt pins?
Yes they can be replaced, spares are supplied. It is very easy. No tools are necessary except maybe a tweezers or small needle nose pliers.
What is typical life expectancy of a ZOOM tilt pin?
The only 2 wearable items are the plating on the pins and the holes in the plates the pins ride on. The plating is typical industry specifications. The fixture to provide many tens of thousands of actuations before enough wear in the holes would cause the pins to loose accuracy.
What is the typical or maximum tilt pin angle ?
Our limits are dependent upon the application, but typically .200″ of offset from tip to base.
